It's like anything else, if you don't make an effort, you are guaranteed to achieve nothing. If you do make an effort, you just might make a difference. The same is true for CSM delegates and the CSM itself. The CSM is a young entity--it needs time for its processes and focus to mature...especially considering it undergoes the equivalent of a corporate reorganization every year. Meanwhile, if there so happens to be a group of delegates who really gel, their synergies could work very much in our favor. I'm a fan of these kinds of processes and can see the appeal of being a delegate, even though it has got to be a ton of work. And as a pirate in EVE, I will be very pleased to see an intelligent, experienced player who understands the dynamics of low sec representing us outlaws who live and work there.

I must admit that I'm not 100% convinced by the CSM either, especially in their current capacity. I'm hoping that Lark might be able to tip the balance a little in our favour - worth a shot.

It's true that he'll have to do some yelling to get his voice heard, so I wish him the best of luck with that. Not a job I'd fancy for sure, but it's nice to have a serious candidate from our side of the fence.

Hoping you're wrong (but in a good way :p) and thank you for visiting, always a pleasure. Hope you get some nice kills (but you always do lol). Good hunting old friend o/

I'm not convinced by the CSM and as such feel Lark is wasting his time. I suppose a free vacation to Iceland is nice but it just seems to me that it turns a game into a second job.
Also, one voice amongst the Bears, Nullseccers and Industrialists will get lost and voting on issues that are important to Pirates will get drowned out.

I may of course be wrong.

100% in agreement with you, Alia. I don't know Lark well, but the conversations I have had with him demonstrated his intelligence, ability to analyze issues, and mature attitude--and yeah, he's even got a sense of humor :). He will get both my votes and I'm going to chat with him to see how I can assist his campaign efforts.
